Lisa Gail Green is one of our writers at Bumples. Her Dog poem was in the 2nd issue and Never Feed a Monster will be in the January issue. It is about a little boy who is scared to get out of bed. As a child I was terrified to get out of bed in the dark. I am sure that lots of kids have this fear or have had this fear and this story will help show them that they are not alone.

Lisa doesn't just write for younger kids but also older kids and adults. I just checked out her website and read Under the Influence. If you have teenagers let them read this story. I plan on showing it to my nieces who are teenagers. If you like Harry Porter, you will like this story and her other stories. Please check her out at lisagailgreen. com or paranomalpointofview.blogspot.

Happy Thanksgiving

About Bumples Magazines

Bumples Magazine is devoted to children learning to love to read. The stories are written by writers, new and accomplished, who love to write fun and interesting stories.

Thanksgiving is a time to thank everyone, not only your family, but your friends and strangers. Our cover is due to all of the wonderful writing that we have gotten this year. I can't thank the writers enough.

Thanksgiving is a time to be with your family and I chose this cover to bring children and animals from past stories to sit down together. They are family now. I just read that animals in zoos get special thanksgiving treats. I hope that everyone gives there animal an extra treat or pat during the holidays.

The Thanksgiving issue is a warm and fun issue. If you or your children have not read it, please check it out.

Try an issue or subscribe for a year which entitles you to all the back issues. There is plenty to read and plenty of games to play. What bettor gift than a magazine that they can read monthly. Instead of just playing games on the computer, let them do both and come away happy and accomplished.

The whole Bumple family wishes everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving
